I like Munchkin too, but probably after we get into roleplaying, since it'll make more sense and be more fun. Cthulhu is understandable, horror maybe isnt the good one to start with.

GURPS I like cause it seems to be more vast, and simple at the same time. You only use 3d6 for everything, and you can model it around any story/campaign/ideas you have, including SW. I'd like to do the Old Republic with SW D20, but, it has the same issues as with D&D, it won't be all of us starting as newbies, plus, I wouldnt wanna throw in another sourcebook till we have the game down a bit haha.

I like the idea of Munchkin RPG. I definitely think we shouldn't do D&D, simply for the reason that it'll be more fun if we try something new (and if certain people are in our group, they're already familiar with D&D and I'd rather us all start out as newbies). I'm not really wanting to do call of Cthulhu just yet.

GURPS I'm totally up for. I know you've been wanting to do it for ages. Star Wars, of course, is probably my top choice, but only if it's Old Republic/Empire era.

It's not technically a timed mission, but in a way it is. The fuel is constantly being used as far as I can tell, so it is, in a sense, timed. It's retarded.

I tried doing it for him, but after a few tries I was ready to chuck the controller at the TV. I found the easiest way to control the plane is going backwards on the road. If you don't fly, it's controllable...which is really quite sad and ironic considering it's, you know...a FUCKING REMOTE CONTROL PLANE.

Definitely. One's like you mentioned in FFTA2, I enjoy, and love. I do them, and if I end up hating it and wanting to give up and move on, boom, done. Making them mandatory is ridiculous.

For me, SA has 4 "Fuck this" missions that I had given up on the game for a period of time. The 2 first racing missions for Caesar in around Red County ( I don't mind racing, but FUCK off. ). The 2nd of those being the real annoyance. #3 being said RC mission, and #4 being the Flight School up by Las Venturas.

I call it a week, and I move on to Destroy All Humans!, or another game.

I concur, wholeheartedly. This is exactly the spot that I quit the game last time I played it actually- as after a hundred tries, even after I (barely) managed to succeed and move past this part, my interest in the game had since died. Useless 'quests' I'm fine with (FF Tactics Advance2 on the DS for instance, 300 mostly meaningless quests), but being forced into such tedious and ridiculous crap as this GTA mission with no option for skipping is like having a railroad spike jammed into your eye- it's cruel and unusual and thus AGAINST FEDERAL LAW. Sorry, over-dramatizing it a bit, but I definitely feel you on this ^_^
